Synopsis

Kyung Sook is a widow who depends on her son Jung Soo, a doctor, to get by in life. When he brings home his girlfriend Hyun Joo, Kyung Sook immediately disapproves of her because of her poor background. The couple goes ahead and gets married anyway against her wishes. In retaliation, Kyung Sook takes it upon herself to make Hyun Joo's life as hard as possible, just like how her late mother-in-law treated her. However, Jung Soo dies in a car accident, making the two women no longer related. They eventually remarry, but life is never so simple. Here's the twist – the tables have turned, and in a curious twist of fate, Kyung Sook is now married to Hyun Joo’s husband's nephew!
